Would like some advice about acid reflux bad gastric problem?
I am trying to do some research on something. I have a daughter that almost 20 months old. My daughter been having acid reflux since she was one month old. The doctor never told us how bad it was or anything. My daughter been on prevacid since she was three months old. The doctor we was seeing when she was born didn’t do anything so I got a new doctor when she was 3 months old and put her on this medicine. My daughter is a failure to thrive baby and still is. She doesn’t gain weight so she got a feeding tube.
Two days ago she vomited and I took her back to a new doctor. The doctor said she vomited up stomach acid. They up dose her reflux medicine. And I would need to feed her something before bed. Her tube feeding formula that she on goes to her small intestine. So they think the stomach isn’t getting anything during the night she vomiting up the stomach acid.
Does anyone know a good website or a way I can find more information on this. Would it be better for her to eat small amount of food every two hours.

I am a member of RISA (the Reflux Infant Support Association) http://www.risa.org.au
It is an Australian support association, but you should still be able to join and post questions on the on-line forum. They are a very supportive group and maybe you will get some alternative viewpoints. There are a few parents who are volunteers for the organisation that have high-level complex needs and like you have had to search for answers and had to pursue a number of avenues.
It costs $A30 which is about $US25
There is also a NZ site called “Crying Over Spilt Milk” which is quite informative. I hope you find something that helps your little one.
