Very SERIOUS ones….think long and hard before doing it….have heard horror stories of people having to go through one surgery after another after another, when it comes to the neck and spine…..that is such a delicate area, with the nervous system. I have a herniated disk in the neck, and have chosen the route of staying half high on pain meds, rather than to have some doctor cut into me….just cannot fathom it. Good luck. Most of the surgeries involve removing bone from another part of the body and “fusing” it to the damaged area….doctors told me chances of fusion surgery helping are only 50/50…..why risk that?

Do you mean plural sac hernia or soft tissue hernia?

I just recently had microdisectomy surgery to repair my l5 ruptured disk 4 weeks ago. I went through the steroids and injections and they did not work at all. I should have done it 6 months ago, I have no pait whatsoever and feel great.
