Category: Rosacea

I have mild Rosacea and I was wondering which mineral makeup is better Physicians or Maybelline?
I have already used Bare Minerals and it dried my face so bad and it made my redness even worst!

Physicians would probably be best for your skin because it is geared more towards specific skin types.
To lower the red tone in your skin, you should try Physicians Formula Green Powder. It reduces redness time you apply it. For long term benefits, try the new Clinique redness line made specially for people who have Rosacea. They make creams, mosturizers, face wash, and quick concealers.
Hope I helped :]

Bare minerals is the best, and they were the original company. Everyone else after that was just trying to copy what they were doing, and some are ok, but bare minerals are leaps and bounds over the rest.

BareMinerals or Sheercover. Ive used both but found Sheercover to be the best for my skin and I have a birthmark on the center of my nose that looks like i dipped my nose in ink. Sheercover covers it up. Sheercover gets expensive so BareMinerals is great since its only $60 and lasts around 3-5 months depending on how ofter and how much you put on. Its easy on skin so great for sensitive skin. Ifyou stick to bareminerals, try using the mineral veil before and after you apply your make up, it helps keeping the makeup on and stop from revealing what is underneath.

Bare Minerals and Sheer Cover have that bismuth in it that will make your rosacea so much worse. I never had rosacea til I tried Bare Minerals and Sheer Cover both are like so bad for your skin it made my skin feel like I had tons of fire ants eating at my skin it was that bad. Stay away from it. ITS JUNK! high price bad for you products that just make some rich beotch more money she don’t care.

I am afraid the drugstore brands are not going to help at all. Most of them are not pure minerals and it may very well make your rosacea much worse. I switched from bare minerals last year to kms mineral essentials. It is one of the very pure mineral products out there, and it does not contain bismuth like bare minerals. Many people are very sensitive to it. Keep in mind that no matter what mineral product you do use it will be drying as it is a dry application, so it is best to use a moisturizer before you apply.
Kms is great in that it covers very well especially when you use the concealer. I have sensitive skin and have never had a problem with this product line.
