What happens if hemorrhoids are left untreated?

I think I have hemeroids and every bowl movement they do start to get pain a bit, but otherwise the pain goes away and is painless. I feel a huge bump on the very front of the rectile, what happens if they are left untreated? Will it grow? I have no pain, so I am not worrying to much about it.
If I go to the doctor it seems embarrassing for check up.
How are they cured?

Hemorrhoids are so common, so dont be embarrased going to the doctor, however, all you need is “pile cream” from any pharmacy/chemist.
Best to check with the doctor that it is hemorrhoids though, lumps and bumps in places they shouldn’t be NEED to be checked, better safe than sorry x

It is better to seek for medical attention especially if it bleeds. If the hemorrhoids are left untreated, they might turn into thrombosed hemorrhoids that are more painful.
At this moment, you should take more fiber to improve your bowel movement. You just can’t afford to have constipation if you have hemorrhoids.
