What caused the infertility problem in the book Handmaid’s Tale?
OK, so I want to know why everyone is infertile in the book Handmaid’s tale, and what page I could find a good quote from the book that deals with infertility.
Thank You!

Presumably it has something to do with the devestation of the environment, possibly exposure to some sort of chemical. Not only is there widespread infertility but birth defects were pretty common.
