What can i do about irritable bowel syndrome?
I recently found out i have IBS, and it is very frustrating and annoying because every time I have to do things at school that make me nervous, sure enough IBS affects me. I am just wondering what I can do to prevent this from happening.

There are things that make it worse, so not doing those things will make it better. Increase “B” vitamins. You might have to eliminate gluten (which is difficult, but can be done)

Hi Lane,
IBS is a complicated disease and can be caused by lots of different things and it’s affected by stress. Find out everything you can about the disease because that will help you deal with it.
You might also find out about meditation techniques to help you learn how to calm your mind and your digestive system; they’re connected. The more you practice, the easier you will be able to cope in stressful situations at school. Your doctor should be able to give you some medication to help with this too.
Many people think that IBS can be caused by a yeast infection. You could get a test to find out if this is the case for you. If it is, there are cleanses and dietary changes you can make that will help eliminate the cause.
Hope this helps,
Elizabeth

I’m sorry for your frustration…my sister also has IBS and when it’s midterms/finals, the symptoms hit her and she’s in pain…have you tried natural remedies such as AloeElite? It helps with digestive disorders, including IBS and my sister said it worked wonders. I attached a link to their homepage which has more info on how it relieves IBS, hope it helps!
