tongue thrust disorder?

I am a tongue thruster and I know that I am supposed to swallow with my tongue on the roof of my mouth but where is my tongue supposed to rest when I am not swallowing?
When I am not doing anything it kind of just rests next to my lower teeth,
are there specific exercises I should do? if so it would be very nice if you mention them
I had braces
