subconjunctival hemorrhage aka popped blood vessel in my eye. healing.?
Category: Subconjunctival Hemorrhage

I recently popped three blood vessels in my eye. I was wondering how long it would take for them to heal. Do they change colors as they heal? Is there anything i can do/take to make them heal faster? I’ve already been to the eye doctor. They just said i have to wait it out.

I recently went through something similar. Mine was over the optic nerve so not visible to me or anyone except the doc. It was my blood pressure causing it & I got that down by getting myself fired (Mixed blessing.) and using some herbs. In two months it was completely healed & left no scar. Hawthorn berry extract is good for the vascular system. Witch hazel leaves made into a tea can be used as a healing eye wash. Make sure to use sterile utensils when brewing and cool the tea to about room temp before using.

I had this happen to me about 6 months ago. It took about 2 weeks for mine to heal completely, As it healed the redness did change to a brownish color. I think it is one of those things you have to let heal on its own.
