Knowing Thompson has non-hodgkins lymphoma, would his selection of a VP be especially scruitinized?

Category: Hodgkin's Disease

He is in remission, but, it is a lethal disease, and can be, a virulant (fast spreading once penetrating the body) disease, with few cures, though, remission is obviously possible. I am curious as to what you might think?

I would think so yes. I will look closer at his V.P.

    This is a great question.

The truth is, unfortunately, any cancer can return at any time.

Actually, he is just playing the role of cancer victim….

He’ll also play the role of President (again) if given the opportunity..

Now, what SHOULD concern us is that he has never won (or been nominated to, I believe) an Oscar or an Emmy.

This suggests he isn’t a very good actor. If we are electing him upon his ability to assume the “role” of president, then I say we should judge him by his thespian abilities…

Th VP for any candidate should be scrutinized.

  5. mustagme Says:

I wouldn’t think so, or at least no more then any other candidate out there.

  6. antiliber Says:

I think we should always keep that in mind with any presdential candidate, especially during this time of terrorist.

  7. Bush Invented the Google Says:

Yeah, it’s bad; Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma is what many people with HIV and AIDS die from because it’s too aggressive for their compromised immune systems to fight against. Someone without a compromised immune system can deal with it better, though. Which isn’t to say it won’t kill him, but he’s got a better shot than most people who are diagnosed with the illness.

But I don’t think he’s qualified to be President anyway.

Awe man, I hope he doesn’t dye.

    Thompson & Cheney for ’08

    Need a health VP then.
