what are serious problems that a girl can have if she has thyroid disease?

it all depends on what particular disease. but the serious ones (but keep in mind if its treated properly there’s a very low risk) are;
cancer of the thyroid
hair loss
weight gain
weight loss
psychosis
goitre
lymphoma
but don’t let that list scare you, those are very rare.. and usually effect people who don’t know they have a disease and therefore leave it untreated
with proper treatment, all you should notice is a change in your weight (it can go up and down) ,you might feel very tired at times, and sometimes it can effect mental health so you might feel a bit depressed at times (that can also be treated)
