I’m surprised you feel well enough to go to a disco. Anyway, glandular fever isn’t very contagious, but maybe you should avoid tempting fate eh?

Some of the above answers are not correct and do not visit the web site in answer above, my computer came up with its a site not to be trusted could give you viruses!
Glandular fever in its infectious stage is highly contagious. For nothing is it known as the kissing disease! Do not kiss him or share drinks etc. Go and see your Doctor and ask him/her if you are safe now to kiss B/friend.
Hope you are safe now. M

Depends how long you have had it and if you still have symptoms or not, if so then its probably best not to! If you are over the symptoms, fevers, coughs, sniffling, no white dots in throat then you are probably safe! Rinsing with alcohol/bacterial mouth rinse before the disco if you are well enough to go and over the symptoms and still want to kiss your BF will reduce the chances of him gettin it! I had it for a week and still kissed me GF as soon as the symptoms were over and she never got it!
Glandular fever is also something that can keep popping up over time here or there usually not as bad as the first time but making you feel weaker or drained at times though it doesn’t happen with everyone. I know a few people who have had it and that it did come back for. But its usually past the contagious stages at that point upon re-occurring! Well hope this helps and have a good one if you go!
