If you have warts on, or around your genital area, is it guaranteed that you have attained the STD?

Category: Genital Warts

I have just a couple small warts on my vagina, and they look NOTHING like the pictures on google of “Genital Warts”. Could this possibly be from something else such as an infection, or contact with a normal wart or something?

Any wart anywhere on the body is a Human Papilloma virus type. Warts on the genital area are due to genital HPV types. Are you sexually active? Genital warts are most commonly transmitted during vaginal and anal sex. Genital warts are a common sexually transmitted virus. Over 50% of the population shares and HPV type or two.

Most genital warts do not look anything like the pic on the internet. Most of the pics are extreme case.

Genital warts can be one single wart or a group of warts.

The only way to know what these ‘bumps’ are is to be diagnosed by a health care professional. They are many things that can cause bumps on the external genital area.

the warts on the internet are very extreme and can be very different to what a lot of people have.your best bet is oing to the doc. it could be from if you had a wart say on your hand and touched the area you can pass them onto your genitals.

perhaps you should have a physician look at them and let them determine if they are warts. or you should elaborate on what they look like, someone might be able to help you figure it out, but the best idea is to go to the doctor
