How much percent of population is affected by heart disease?

Hey, I was wondering, for school, how much percent of population is affected by heart disease? Google didn’t find anything.

Well I just found that 25% of Americans suffer from heart disease… could that be true? What about a percentage for the whole world?

According to American Heart Association, one in three will have cardiovascular disease. It doesn’t mean just the heart, vascular includes the blood vessels in and around the heart, which includes the aorta.
The AHA is a good source of all kinds of statistics for Heart Disease.
