There is no biological perspective, except in the mind of some social scientist. Perhaps you meant physiological perspective. Biology is the study of living things, but the physical causes/effects of the disorder are not completely understood, though serotonin is heavily implicated. Of course, a program instituted to counter the symptoms does have effect. This is touted by social scientists as a great miracle; ” talk therapy changes neuron connections “, they trumpet. This statement is a banality, as any so thing changes neuron connections; otherwise we would be amnesiacs.
