you have to use real lice killing meds and comb and you have to wash her bed linnens in very hot water and get her a new pillow. cutting her hair short would help a lot too.

First this is your daughter so go and by the rids X for immediately relief. Then ask your doctor or call the ask a nurse line and they can tell you exactly what you should do. You will have to wash everything she owns and whatever else she comes into contact with since the first incident.

Slather her hair in conditioner and leave for a few hour – he lice will die and the nits are easier to see. Then comb her hair out using a nit comb.

Wash linens, towels etc in hot water at the same time.

Using a ‘natural’ cure for head and body lice is like using a herbal cure for toothache. To avoid other parents reporting you to the public health authorities, you should shave off all her hair and apply Gentian Violet.

I was recommended this fab comb from a friend of mine, it not only gets rid of the lice, but pulls the eggs out aswell!! I would never go back to using lotions now. Here is the link http://www.nittygritty.co.uk
