Heavy breathing results in chest pain feels like its my heart or close to that area, what is this?
Category: Angina & Chest Pain

When I breath sometimes I get these chest pains that hurt when I breath in and out, I noticed them when I was about twelve or thirteen. Also sudden bending of the chest area also results in chest pains that feels like its my heart or very close to my heart. Its a sharp sudden pain that quickly goes away when i stop breathing in and out or stand still, what is this? Is it normal?
These pains don’t happen every time I do these things, they happen when they want.

There are muscles and nerves running through your chest. By bending you could be pinching something or straining a muscle. This usually causes us to breath differently in an effort to lesson the pain. It may be normal for some people and some people my not notice it. To be sure you can ask a doctor on your next checkup. More than likely there will be nothing found.
