Has anyone ever told you that it’s common to lose hair after surgery? I had kidney stones removed and lost hair for up to a year afterwards. It’s finally filling back in.

Also, I really wish you the best! I know it will get well soon!
Stay beautiful and positive!

Hi! I’m just now getting over my TE. My specialist said not to use Rogain. The reason being that it’s a treatment that you are supposed to keep using for live, or else the hair that comes in with the Rogain will fall once treatment stops. I used Nioxin #2 and I take 5,000mcg’s of Biotin and a daily multi-vatamin. Finally I am seeing some re-growth, it’s very relieving to see tiny little hairs all over my head. Anyway, If anyone has a question shoot me a message! Good luck!

you seemed nicer when you were fat. how come ladies that are getting a “new” body get that bitchy attitude with the package?
September 5th, 2010 at 9:45 pm
I have very thin hair with scalp showing and I started to fill it in with brown eye shadow…sounds crazy but it works well you should give it a try when you feel up to it. use a matte shadow. Joan rivers sells a product especially for it also. the powder shadow absorbs oil too so it helps with that as well. give it a try…you will probably like it.

wow honey, I applaud you and your strength for allowing other women the ability to step into your life and view what they may be afraid to share. You are an amazing young lady and I wish you nothing but the best in life and with all that you endeavor to achieve. Ask your dermatologist what he/she thinks of you adding Saw Palmento to your diet may do to help with the hair loss as well. If they think it is a good idea, will you share that with us please?

You look great. I have one question can we see the scars now? If you do have any, and if you don’t, what did you do to remove them.
September 6th, 2010 at 4:23 am

Diya uses a treatment programme based around Propecia and minoxidil 12.5% + Azelaic, Propecia. He was also provided with a free HairMax LaserComb as part of his treatment course. More information on the treatment course that Diya uses can be found on the Belgravia Centre website in the hair loss treatments section.

You can find our review on Provillus by typing ‘Provillus Belgravia’ in Google. Our report appears at the top of the Google listings with the title ‘Provillus – How Effective is Provillus Likely To Be for Hair Loss’.
September 6th, 2010 at 9:08 am
what do you think of the new provillus?
September 6th, 2010 at 9:23 am
thank you!
September 6th, 2010 at 9:57 am
If you aren’t using minoxidil or Propecia there’s not much else likely to help. The most well-known supplements are Vivivscal or Nourkrin, containing marine extracts, or Procerin and Hair Vitalics, containing saw palmetto and other nutrients. Unfortunately no supplement shows any conclusive evidence of actually helping hair loss. The LaserComb is the only other product acknowledged by the FDA – it’s ‘FDA Cleared’. There’s lots more information on our Blog (search Google for ‘Belgravia Blog’).

last one, 29 yr old thinning hair,,,don’t want to do rogaine or propecia….whats the best natural thing that i can take …. is that saw palmetto?
September 6th, 2010 at 11:03 am
Neither caffeine nor green tea are bad for the hair.
September 6th, 2010 at 11:52 am
It’s possible that allergic reactions to certain shampoo ingredients can cause scalp complaints, but not hair loss. There is not enough absorbtion into the scalp for a shampoo to damage the follicles.
September 6th, 2010 at 12:01 pm
is caffeine bad for my hair? and green tee
September 6th, 2010 at 12:24 pm
I’m not too sure about that, I read chemicals in shampoo damage hair folicles, people have had to switch to more natural shampoos because of their hairloss
September 6th, 2010 at 1:02 pm
It’s unlikely that this is down to stopping using shampoo. Perhaps your hair loss was a temporary condition. Washing the hair and keeping it clean is beneficial to the hair and hair loss prevention.
September 6th, 2010 at 1:38 pm
I just stopped using shampoo, and my hair is actually growing back.
September 6th, 2010 at 2:27 pm
It is possible that lack of nutrients can affect hair growth but the majority of cases of hair loss are down to genetics.
September 6th, 2010 at 3:05 pm
can diet damage hair growth?
September 6th, 2010 at 3:52 pm
Diya uses Propecia and experienced no side effects. He also uses The Belgravia Centre’s minoxidil 12.5% + azelaic acid cream. More information on The Belgravia Centre website
September 6th, 2010 at 4:31 pm
what kind of pills where you taking? any side effects?
September 6th, 2010 at 5:01 pm
Same here, I’m also 24 and already my hair is noticeably thinning.
I was considering that hair max laser comb thigy but i’m not sure if it works.
Wonder if anyone here has a success story yet?
September 6th, 2010 at 5:09 pm
Belgravia’s treatment courses are based around medically proven treatments for hair loss. Combined and administered correctly the correct treatments will almost always result in hair loss stabilisation and most also experience some degree of regrowth. Please visit The Belgravia Centre website by typing ‘Belgravia Centre’ in Google – you will find information on the most effective treatment options and hundreds of before/during treatment photos and success stories.

also 24 yrs old and i having losing my hair since 20 it’s so frustate pl anyone can tell me what i need used cause rogaine din’t work for me thx
September 6th, 2010 at 5:56 pm
None of Belgravia’s treatments contain animal ingredients or are tested on animals. I believe the same goes for Propecia but am not 100% sure as the origins of the treatment go back a long time (Proscar). You should be able to find this out by contacting Merck & Co.
September 6th, 2010 at 6:21 pm
Would be interested if the treatments don’t contain animal ingredients or have been tested on animals…
September 6th, 2010 at 7:14 pm
Diya uses a combination of the proven hair loss treatments (in his case Propecia and Minoxidil 12.5%) as well as certain hair growth boosters to maximise his response. You can find more information on the treatments he uses by visiting the Belgravia Centre website (link can be found to the right of the video) and adding /hairlosstreatments.htm to the URL.
