Question by Nora M: Genetics and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis!! (familial ALS)?
My mother was recently diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral sclerosis (ALS), and i just discovered that 10% of all cases is genetic.. I read a little about it but couldn’t find anything about tests.. so is there a genetics test that can tell if i have the genes or not?

Yea, they do a test for SOD1 mutation.
