I had the same thing, it was going on for 2 weeks finally i went to the doctor and took it out somehow it turned out to be an eyelash under my lower eye lid.
Try rinse you eyes with some water and check under the eyelid for anything like eyelashes and try to remove them, if theres nothing there see a doctor.

An infection. Yeah, feels like there’s something hard there, don’t it? There’s not, the lid’s nerve endings are just out of whack due to some sort of infection that you have in the lower hemisphere of your eyeball, the same thing happened to me when I accidentally splashed bleach in my eye while cleaning. It bugged the HELL outta me for half the day! But my chemical experiences aside, here’s my cliche-ish answer: GO TO THE DOCTOR.
PS: I used an eyewash with a eye cup, pick one up at the drugstore and use it for a couple days. Follow the instructions and THEN if it don’t go away, go to the doctor.

depends on where you are and what you ate or touched or was touched by, it may be a worm.
go to a doctor.

possibly dry eye, or conjunctivitis, too much visine.
