could someone help me understand what you do about a congenital situation like this?

•IPRESSION:
. Diffuse cerebral atrophy. No acute intracranial abnormality.
. Prominent extra-axial CSF space particularly anterior to the left temporal horn as compared to the right. No definitive encapsulated cyst 3 seen although arachnoid cyst not completely excluded

A “congenital” defect or illness means one that your born with. Cerebral atrophy implies a decline over time. It sounds like they’re ruling out a brain tumor. This is either a CT or MRI report, and it sounds like that of an older person. Maybe they have NPH or some kind of dementia?
