Could my boyfriend have Glandular Fever?
Category: Glandular Fever

I’ve had Glandular Fever for a few months pretty bad and my boyfriend has been kissing me while I have had this. He’s now been aching, shivering, vomiting occasionally, coughing, neck aching.. all the same as me except for I didn’t vomit. He’s been like this for 2 weeks. Can you vomit with Glandular Fever? Could he have it?

If you’ve had glandular fever (infectious mononucleosis) and you kiss your boyfriend, it is highly likely that you could transmit the disease to him.
Symptoms associated: sore throat, fever, fatigue, weight loss, malaise (feeling bad), pharyngeal inflammation, vomiting.
Not everyone will experience the exact same symptoms.
2 weeks, give him a little more time to recover. All he really needs to do is rest, this condition is usually self limiting.
