Can you get your tongue pierced if you have a tongue disorder ?

Well i don’t know what its called but it looks like all cut up and has a line in the middle. Well im was going to get it pierced.

I would not suggest getting your tongue pierced. you can google this but I have seen people get bad infections because you have tons & tons of bacteria in your mouth.
Plus – it looks disgusting and it impairs your speech and an eyebrow or nose looks way cooler

It doesn’t really sound like a good idea, but I’d ask a doctor or research it on the internet before you go in to get it pierced. You could always go in and see if they would pierce it, but if you have a disorder there may be a greater risk of infection.

What you are talking about may be what is called a geographic tongue. (Google it, and see if it’s similar to how your tongue is) I’ve heard of people with such a condition getting their tongue pierced, and they never had any issues. If you do decide to get it, as always, be very careful and follow the aftercare directions to the “T”. Good luck… Let us know how is goes =)

I would not go and get it done if i were you. Unless you were going for the split tounge look.
