Can glaucoma lead to communications problems as secondary problem?

PLEASE ONLY REAL EXPERTS ONLY.
The person has been diagnosed a glaucoma and soon after a few days he was not able to speak or respond anymore

there’s no link between glaucoma and not being able to speak and respond.

i’ve had glaucoma since i was 11yrs old and i’m now 25yrs old and there is nothing wrong with my speech or response.

perhaps the person had a stroke a few days after being diagnosed with glaucoma.
(my grandmother had a stroke right in front of my eyes and she could not speak or respond to anything. she also could not move. and thats the way it stayed until she passed away a few weeks later.)
