Any over weight/obese people out there ever have your gall bladder removed and, if so, what were the results?

I have gallbladder disease and my surgery for removal is coming up soon. I am nervous because of the added risk of being overweight and I am wondering if anyone else -specifically overweight people- have any information for me on their experience with the surgery, healing, diet afterwords etc. Any information would be appreciated

Ask your doctor about complications. I had mine removed several years ago and I am overweight but not a lot. I guess it depends on the person. They most of the time do laproscopic and it’s nothing to it. You are in and out on the same day and nothing special as far as I remember. Good luck. You will feel much better after it is over.
